How we build houses from LSTK – a detailed process from project to finished home

Building a house using LSTK (light steel thin-walled construction) technology is a modern, fast and high-tech process. At Chalet Group, we follow clearly structured stages that allow us to guarantee quality, precision and control of every detail.

📦 Stage 1: Design and production of the structure

It all starts with the design. Based on the architectural plan, a structural design for the LSTK is prepared, in which each load-bearing part is calculated.

Then:

The structure is factory-produced;
Each profile is made with precise dimensions;
The mounting holes are prepared in advance;
All elements are numbered.

👉 This means that there are no "manual adjustments" on site, but your metal structure arrives at the site in parts

🚚 Stage 2: Delivery and site preparation

Once the construction is complete, all materials are delivered to the site:

* Your metal structure;
* Connecting elements;
* Membranes and insulations;
* Additional materials.

In parallel, the foundation is being prepared.

Foundation:

We most often use:

Monolithic foundation slab or ground anchors (depending on the project)

👉 For a monolithic slab:

1. The concrete is poured;
2. Wait for the necessary time for hardening;
3. Leveling is checked.

Only then does the assembly of the structure begin.

🔩Stage 3: Construction assembly

This is one of the fastest and most impressive stages.

The process includes:

* Installation of the main supporting profiles;
* Construction of external and internal walls;
* Installation of the roof structure;
* Fixing all connections and knots.

👉 Everything is assembled using bolts and screws

Advantages:

* High speed of operation;
* Perfect geometry;
* Minimal errors.

Typically, the structure of a house can be assembled in a few days.

🧱 Stage 4: Cladding and construction of the wall system

Once the structure is ready, we move on to building the walls.

This is a key stage that determines:

* thermal insulation;
* noise insulation;
* the period of operation.

What does the system include:

1. Insulation

* Laying stone wool in the structure;
* Provides warmth in winter and coolness in summer;
* Excellent noise insulation.

2. Membranes

* Vapor barrier membrane (on the inside);
* Windproof and waterproof membrane (on the outside).

👉 These layers:

* prevent condensation;
* protect the structure;
* extend the life of the building.

3. Additional layers

* Soundproofing solutions;
* Moisture-resistant systems.

🌬️ Ventilation and proper wall operation

One of the most important advantages of LSTK is the correct "work" of the wall.

The system is designed so that:

* moisture should be led outside;
* no condensation retention;
* the structure must remain dry.

👉 This is critical for the long life of the house

⚙️ Quality control

At each stage we perform:

* Checking leveling;
* Installation control;
* Checking membranes and insulation;
* Technological requirements have been met.

We do not compromise because the structure is the foundation of the entire home.

⏱️ Implementation deadlines

One of the biggest advantages of LSTK:

* Construction: several days;
* Sheathing and insulation: short deadlines;
* Overall process: significantly faster than traditional construction.
